The Larnaca District Court has issued a three-day remand order against a 26-year-old local resident in connection with a car theft that took place on May 21, 2025.

According to police spokesperson Christodoulos Konsolos, the suspect was arrested on the evening of May 30 by members of the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department (CID). Items stolen from the vehicle included a wallet containing €1,400 in cash, a cheque, bank cards, the owner’s personal documents, and high-value sunglasses.

The case is under investigation by the Larnaca CID.
