In one of his rare interviews about his personal life, Brad Pitt spoke to GQ on the occasion of his new film F1. He reflected on the constant public attention he has faced over the past 30 years, noting that his private life — or “some version of it,” as he put it — has always been in the news.

Pitt admitted there has never been a true “escape” from the spotlight, but said he has learned to live with it by creating a secure and private environment around himself, surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones. He likened the media attention to “a fly buzzing around” every now and then.

When asked about his divorce from Angelina Jolie, he responded with detachment: “I don’t think it was that significant. It was just something that came to an end — legally.”
