The EU has renewed its sanctions regime against the leadership of the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova under Council Decision 2010/573/CFSP until 31 October 2026. The EU imposed sanctions on members of the Transnistrian leadership in response to the Transnistrian conflict in 2003. There are currently no listed individuals on the EU’s Transnistrian leadership list. The EU maintains a separate list against people and entities said to threaten the sovereignty and democracy of Moldova.
