Indian Film Festival Week 2025 will take place from March 5 to March 9 at the ARTos House in Nicosia. The festival is organized by the High Commission of India in Nicosia aiming to reflect the artistic quality and dynamisms of India’s film industry by offering a diverse range of stories and genres for viewers to enjoy.
The festival will start on March 5 at 17:00 with the screening of Mhorkya, a heartbreaking drama of a 14-year-old boy who dreams of leading his school’s parade while overcoming challenges along the way.
On March 6 at 17:000 the festival will screen Eight Down Toofan Mail, a mystery drama film based on true events. A woman claims to be a lost princess and an intense investigation spark.
On March 7 at 17:00 the festival will screen Hellaro. This film highlights the struggles of women in a patriarchal society.
On March 8 at 18:00 the festival will present Good Bye. This family drama contains love, loss and reconciliation.
The festival will conclude on March 9 at 18:00 with a screening of Rakshabandhan, a heartfelt film celebrating the bond between siblings, emphasizing the responsibilities and sacrifices that come with family ties.
All screenings are free to attend, making it an inclusive event for the public to enjoy.
