The year 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the Christodoula March, a symbol of compassion and support for people affected by cancer. Organized by the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society in collaboration with the Bank of Cyprus, this year’s March will be a nationwide relay starting on April 6 in Sotira, Famagusta, the birthplace of Christodoula.

A symbolic suitcase of hope will be passed from hand to hand, traveling through towns and cities across Cyprus, uniting people in a shared journey of solidarity. The March will end on April 12 at Arodaphnousa Center in Nicosia, followed by a walk to the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Centre.

From April 1 to 13, the event will be supported by a fundraising campaign, including street and road collections. The Bank of Cyprus will donate €0.05 for every purchase made with “antamivi” reward cards and offer digital donations via QuickPay Care (1bank).
