The Police recommends caution to drivers of vehicles travelling on the Limassol-Nicosia motorway, as until next Sunday morning, due to works, the right lane of the motorway will be closed towards Nicosia, in the section between the exit to Pera Chorio Nissou and the exit to Tseri.

According to an announcement from the Department of Public Works, “Work will be conducted from 9:00 in the evening of Friday, January 31, until 6:00 in the morning of Sunday, February 02, for maintenance of the bridge on the highway, adjacent to the Almyros River, and specifically for replacement of contraction and expansion joints on the bridge.”

It is noted that the right lane, from Limassol towards Nicosia, will be closed for a distance of about 800 metres, and traffic will be routed through the middle and left lanes.
